After much deliberation, here are Boss Wave’s favorite games of 2014. There’s not as much crossover as there was last year and there’s been plenty of confusion over non-2014 games somehow making the 2014 lists… but the results are a fun compilation of a lot of the best stuff we played over the past year. Make sure to tune into the companion episode #079 and, as always, we’d love to hear any thoughts you might have so give us a shout!
Seth’s under the weather so Chris corrals the crew and talks some games. The ET landfill, the worst games ever, the new Star Wars films, Bethesda suing Carmack and Call of Duty are all discussed before the guys get into what they’ve been playing. And what have they been playing? Hearthstone, David, OlliOlli, Spelunky, Monument Valley, Ys: Memories of Celceta and Final Fantasy 6. The the guys close the show, but just keep talking. Stay tuned.
Wide World: Grimes “Oblivion”
Settle in people, this is a long one. Seth, Chris and Zach welcome fellow Boss Waver Robin Brown to the show and we wax poetic about Assassin’s Creedyness, Gary Olman and Steam Machines. Chris has been playing some Ys (whatever that is…), Robin some Payday 2, Zach’s been rousing some Sleeping Dogs and Seth finished up Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. Shoutouts, Twitters, Facebooks and a Wide World pick. Comin atcha!
Wide World pick: Lucius “Turn It Around”
